- Field Supervisor - Highway Maintenance

Job Summary
Field Supervisors oversee and participate in highway maintenance operations while leading Highway Maintenance Technicians in the field. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, supervising crews, supporting employee development, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining productivity standards. The role involves overseeing highway maintenance activities such as attenuator repair and installation, sign repair and installation, guardrail repair, concrete repair, and other roadway maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory or field leadership experience in highway maintenance.
Roadway or toll lane maintenance experience.
Industry knowledge of highway maintenance and/or transportation construction.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as:Wheel Loaders
Skid Steers
Forklifts
Mini Excavators
Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience working in the field as a Supervisor or Lead Worker.
Ability to read and understand detailed project plans and work sheets.
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Ability to use smartphones and related applications.
Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and respond to emergency call-outs.
Ability to work safely in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous manual labor.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Must maintain required safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
Must pass background checks, driving record reviews, and drug testing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of roadway maintenance experience.
MOT (Traffic Control) Certification.
CDL License.
Clean driving record.
