Requirements
Expectations
The learning duration typically varies from one to four weeks. A veterinary externship/preceptorship/internship is a fantastic chance for veterinary students to gain hands-on clinical experience as part of their education. These opportunities are perfect for current (D.V.M.) veterinary students looking for learning experiences as part of their academic programs for college. You will assist D.V.M.’s with cases in a small animal environment. You will learn how we provide wellness and illness care to our patients, including performing physical examinations alongside our veterinarians and assisting with managing medical cases. You will have the chance to observe and assist with surgical and dental procedures. We believe that the quality of care and the variety of our cases would be a significant benefit to any student wanting to gain real experience.
