About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian Publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.
Important Details
- Interviews for this opening will start in December 2025.
- Internships will start in May 2026, and generally go through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly range for this position is $17 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, on-site.
Project Coordinator Intern
Ever wonder how a manuscript becomes the physical product on the shelf in a bookstore? Join the Publishing Services Product Management team to witness the behind-the-scenes of how a book is made from a clean manuscript through the finalized file for the print book.
As a member of this team, you will interact closely with the Publishing Services group, including Acquisitions, Typesetting, Editorial, Design, and Purchasing (print buying). A strong candidate for this role is passionate about publishing, the Word of God, and coordinating intricate details. Come experience book and Bible production in action!
Responsibilities
- Tracking relevant product details across the Publishing Services departments — Typesetting, Design, Editorial, Purchasing (print buying), and Acquisitions
- Shepherding short-term projects through the production process, including maintaining effective communications and reviewing files to ensure product quality
- Creating and monitoring schedules to meet print deadlines, prioritizing project workload for other departments when needed
- Cultivating collaborative relationships with other departments
Requirements
- Interest in publishing, particularly the breadth of the publishing process
- Ability to prioritize workload pressures in the face of competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to devise solutions with interdepartmental teams when product challenges arise
- Experience with media development, printing, and literary journals or newspapers is a plus but not required
- Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith.
