Orthocan Orthopaedics Inc is well established center for providing Orthotic, Prosthetic and Pedorthic services to the community clients and Acute care Hospitals, Rehab hospitals, from 2 locations in Ontario- Mississauga and York region, Ontario. Fully licensed by the Ministry of Health, ON. Serving clients of all ages. Bright and spacious workplace to accommodate Technical and Clinical operations. Conveniently located nearby highways and public transit.
Positions Available:
- Registered Orthotic Technician /Registered Prosthetic Orthotic Technician(RTO): 1
- Orthotic Intern : 1
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Start-September 2025/ TBD) 37.5 hours per week

Requirements
Job Functions for Registered Technician :
- Take the lead role in technical areas, providing expertise in designing, manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining Custom made Braces, orthotic devices, Prosthesis
- Ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes in the fabrication and modification of orthotics.
- As needed Mentor and support junior staff, ensuring the effective training and development of team members.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative techniques to continuously improve patient care.
- Lab Maintenance, Inventory assessment and control
Job Functions for Intern (Orthotics):
- Work under the supervision of a Certified Orthotist/ Registered Technician And as needed ability to work independently on the projects.
- Assist in the design, fabrication, and modification of orthotic devices-Custom made Braces, orthotic devices as per patient requirements.
- collaborate with the team and stay focused on delivering optimal outcomes for clients.
- Gain hands-on experience and knowledge in orthotics, with opportunities for growth and progress.
