JOB DESCRIPTIONKeppel is a global asset manager and operator headquartered in Singapore. With operations in more than 20 countries worldwide, we provide innovative solutions that address some of the world's most pressing needs across the energy transition, rapid urbanisation, and increasing digitalisation.\n\nThis role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.\n\nTogether, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.\n\nThe intern will be responsible in the following:\n1) Support Investment team at Keppel Education Asset Fund in preparing financial models, internal presentations and papers for approvals. Where applicable, there could be opportunity to present to senior management of Keppel.\n2) Maintain and update KEAF internal database and Power BI as part of day-to-day operations. Prior knowledge of Power BI is not a necessity as the intern can learn on the job. \n3) Provide support in asset management work and investors' reporting. \n4) Assist to collate data and submit data for GRESB submission. \n\nLearning Outcomes:\n1) Learn how to evaluate education related deals (including analysing operators) and student housing deals, conduct feasibility studies and use of analytics such as Power BI. Improve analytical skills.\n2) Improve communication skills (through presentation - both verbal and written).\n3) Understand the importance of ESG for fund management and what is important for GRESB submission.\n4) Learn to be adaptable and work with different people within an organisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements\n1) We are looking for an energetic and driven candidate with a strong interest in real estate investment;\n2) 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate studying towards a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, real estate or another related subject. Master students can also apply;\n3) Keen interest in the real estate investment field and willing to learn;\n4) Team player;\n5) Strong excel modelling and analysis skill;\n6) Good communication skills (both verbal and written); and\n7) Good analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative).\n\n#LI-VB1
