Description
We are currently looking for an IT Intern to join our Wagman, Inc Information Technology Team. The ideal intern would have a strong interest in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. This position would work hands on alongside our entire IT team securing digital infrastructure and exploring AI applications in the construction industry.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies.
Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Founded in 1902, Wagman is a fourth-generation family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
The following essential functions will be performed under the general direction of the VP of Information Technology. Functions may include, but not limited to:
Essential Functions:
• Assist in maintaining cybersecurity documentation and policies.
• Collaborate with IT staff on troubleshooting, systems support, and risk assessments.
• Support vulnerability assessments and help implement best practices for data protection.
• Provide technical support and network support
Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions:
- Clear and comprehensible speech
- Depress computer keyboard keys
- Sitting is required throughout a scheduled work shift.
- Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands. Must be able to reach and lift.
- Required to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing
- Ability to work full-time in the office
