As an Internal Medicine Hospitalist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing hospitalized patients while collaborating with an expert team of specialists, primary care providers, and case managers.

Your Role as a Hospitalist:
- Provide high-quality inpatient care by rounding on assigned patients multiple times per day as needed.
- Manage hospital admissions and coordinate care with specialists.
- Participate in call coverage with a shared group of hospitalists and internists (overnight in-hospital presence not required).
- Ensure safe transitions of care by working closely with PCPs, case managers, and outpatient teams.
- Engage in medical education by teaching medical students and house staff.
- Be a leader in hospital committees, initiatives, and KSC Hospital Service/IM Department activities.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Graduate of an accredited Internal Medicine training program in the U.S.
- Active Texas Medical License
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Strong commitment to inpatient care and teamwork
