About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian Publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.
Important Details
- Interviews for this opening will start in December 2025.
- Internships will start in May 2026, and generally go through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly range for this position is $17 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, on-site.
HR Intern
We are seeking an HR intern for the summer of 2025 who is as passionate for God’s Word as we are. This is a great opportunity for an innovative thinker who would like to make an impact within the publishing industry. If you have a knack for connecting with people, developing creative digital solutions to complex problems, and building efficiencies though organization, this may be the role for you.
As a member of the team, you will gain knowledge of the publishing industry as well as the HR field by assisting the HR team in the administration of talent management processes. This position provides the opportunity to learn about the HR function and to gain exposure to various HR processes, with a focus on talent management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, correspondence with candidates, scheduling interviews, and administering testing.
- Assist with onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of welcome packages and gifts, facilitating completion of new hire paperwork and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, including gathering and uploading job descriptions, employee photos, and any additional personnel documentation.
- Help maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HR information systems.
- Assist with employee development and engagement initiatives, including training events and employee events.
- Contribute to internal communication and newsletters.
- Provide support within HR for projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Rising Junior or Senior with undergraduate coursework in Human Resources, Communications, Business, Marketing, Psychology or related fields.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through required. Must be a self-starter. Strong organizational, coordination, and project-management skills necessary.
- Confidentiality and flexibility are a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Collaborative team player with a servant’s attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Acknowledgement of and agreement with THM Statement of Faith.
