Description
- High School Programs: Design, implement, and supervise strength and conditioning programs for athletes in various team sports and individual athletes at a prominent North Suburban (Chicago) high school under contract with Rebound.
- Community Engagement: Conduct clinics for the general population, promoting fitness and well-being.
- Clinic Support: Dedicate a few hours weekly as a Personal Fitness Trainer, assisting older populations with their fitness goals within the clinic setting.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with our experienced Physical Therapists to facilitate athletes' "Return to Sport" progression after injury or rehabilitation. This collaboration bridges the gap between rehabilitation and performance training, helping athletes regain strength and confidence.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or actively pursuing one) in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Current industry certification, with a strong preference for the NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. Candidates in the process of obtaining this certification are also encouraged to apply. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required.
- Experience: Experience in programming strength and conditioning regimens is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills are essential. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt training plans to individual needs is crucial.
