Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Quantitative Trading/Research Interns to research, develop, and implement quantitative trading algorithms for crypto assets. This role is ideal for students currently enrolled in top-tier academic programs who are passionate about quantitative finance, cryptocurrency markets, and algorithmic trading. The intern will work closely with experienced quantitative traders and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist in researching, designing, and developing quantitative trading strategies and algorithms focused on cryptocurrency markets.

-Conduct data analysis and statistical modeling to identify market patterns, inefficiencies, and trading opportunities.

-Write, test, and optimize Python code for trading algorithms, data pipelines, and backtesting frameworks.

-Collaborate with senior team members to refine and implement trading models, ensuring robustness and scalability.

-Perform market research and monitor cryptocurrency market trends to inform strategy development.

Qualifications

-Current enrolment in a top-tier undergraduate or graduate program - Master's, or Ph.D.- in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

-Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as NumPy, pandas, or similar for data analysis and modeling.

-Passion for quantitative trading, algorithmic development, and cryptocurrency markets.

-Familiarity with statistical methods, time-series analysis, or machine learning techniques is a plus.

-Basic understanding of financial markets, particularly cryptocurrencies, is highly desirable.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

-Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
