Roles and Responsibilities: Join us for a dynamic practicum and internship
experience where you will -
Receive training on Major Theoretical Models through role play, case conception and direct client sessions. Learn “self as a therapist” tools to become a highly ethical clinician.
Collaborate with other therapists in a truly supportive environment that values diversity.
Supervision by an experienced and seasoned professional.
What We Provide
Steady stream of referrals through marketing.
In-house medical biller to coordinate benefits/eligibility and submit claims.
In-house receptionist who responds to telephone, email and internet inquiries, schedules
intakes.
Supportive team environment and comfortable office space
Ability to work a hybrid schedule (as long as you have a private space to conduct
telehealth) In-person sessions are a requirement, and we do not offer only telehealth, as most clients want to come in person now. You may have some telehealth appointments
Case Consult biweekly in-person requirement on Fridays from 11 am-1 pm, Intern training, and 1:1 support
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
* The ability to receive feedback * Great work ethic
* Flexibile schedule to make sure you can obtain your hours. The clinic is open 7 days a week, with evenings and one weekend day as required.
* Time Management skills
* Self-Awareness
Requirements
Enrolled in a Graduate School Counseling program
Counseling skills a +
15-20 hours, which include evenings and weekends, are required for biweekly in-person consultations on Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm, as well as in-person appointments.
Must be able to work at either location, depending on the needs of the clinic.
