CALIBIR Student Intern
SUMMARY
Performs office support for the practice in the role indicated by the assigned leader.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school (at least grade 11) or college student.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Communicates effectively and courteously on the telephone and in person with patients and colleagues.
2. Actively participates as a team member by supporting decisions, accepting change, managing conflict, and valuing the contributions of others.
3. May fill-in for other support staff when necessary.
4. Provides support in the area indicated by the office manager. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work under stressful situations demanding high concentration and energy level
Strong English grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
Basic computer skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and protocols
Awareness of common safety hazards and universal precautions to establish a safe work environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Comfortable, well-lit office environment Moderate noise level
Pay Range
$18.50 - $27.75
