About Our Internships
Tyndale Internships are designed for college students wanting to explore a career in the Christian Publishing industry. You will get to engage with other interns across various departments, attend training workshops, and participate in group projects designed to build professional skills.
Important Details
- Interviews for this opening will start in December 2025.
- Internships will start in May 2026, and generally go through the summer but can have flexible scheduling.
- The expected hourly range for this position is $17 per hour.
- The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, on-site.
Bible Acquisitions Intern
Are you interested in investing your creative talents and relational skills in making the Bible widely available and easily understood? Consider an internship with the Bible team at Tyndale House Publishers, where your work will inspire Bible engagement and study, helping to innovate new ways to invite the reader into God’s Word.
Tyndale House produces industry-leading Bibles with global impact, including the New Living Translation (NLT) and its sister translation, the Nueva Traducción Viviente (NTV), the Life Application Study Bible and Biblia de estudio del Diario Vivir, the One Year Bible, Inspire and Inspira Bibles, the Filament Bible Collection, and others.
In this position, you will assist in developing Bible concepts and projects as you work through the actual Bible publishing process as a member of our team. This position is a great opportunity for those who are passionate about God’s word and who want to see it grow and flourish worldwide—and in multiple languages! As a member of this team, you will gain insider knowledge of the Bible publishing industry and contribute to the overall process of what it looks like to put Bibles out into the world. You will also be given opportunities to grow as you gain exposure to the ins and outs of publishing within a busy publishing house.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of the Bible Acquisitions Team and the Bible Development Team in support of the Acquisitions Team and the Publisher.
- Help create and refine proposals and publishing plans for Bibles being considered for acquisition.
- Help develop Bibles and support Bible projects through the publishing process.
- Collaborate with other positions and departments, assuring that all departments understand and carry out the vision of each Bible and Bible sub-brand.
- Complete other product-development tasks as assigned, in support of Acquisitions Director and Publisher.
Requirements
- Completion of significant undergraduate coursework in English, communications, journalism, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Advanced Spanish written and reading skills not a requirement but are preferred.
- Demonstrated and proven talents in critical and creative thinking, relational skills, multi-tasking, problem solving, and attentiveness to detail and deadline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Candidates must have a personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word and agree with our Statement of Faith.
